Featured Client: The Maliheh Free Clinic

The Maliheh Free Clinic was begun in 2005. The Clinic’s sole focus is providing free health care for the working poor and uninsured in the Salt Lake metropolitan area. The Clinic provides a wide range of medical services with its primary focus being on providing routine maintenance and preventative care.

The Clinic is able to provide these services, free of charge, with a skeleton staff and more than 400 volunteers. In 2008, the Clinic supported over 10,000 patient visits totaling nearly $2,000,000 in healthcare services were the Clinic to utilize paid providers. FRCI provides on-going development counsel for the Clinic as it works to build a growing, sustainable development program.
